You can project freehand curves onto the active sketch support.
You can sketch primitive lines, arcs, and freehand curves in the plane of your device's screen. These primitive curves are projected as splines onto the active sketch support.
Context: Freehand curves provide visual reference.
They cannot be edited or constrained.
From the Freehand section of the action bar, click Freehand Curve .
If you have not already done so, select a sketch support to sketch on.
The sketch support can be:
A plane or planar face
A nonplanar face or surface
In the dialog box, select a curve type:

Description
Freehand Curve. Sketches a freehand curve. When Freehand Curve is selected, you can control the curve type while sketching.
Primitive Arc. Smooths the curve into an arc when you complete the stroke.
Primitive Line. Smooths the curve into a line or series of lines when you complete the stroke.
Optional: Select options in the dialog box.

Description
Smooth Curve. (For freehand curves only.) Smooths the curve when you complete the stroke.
Freehand Curve Weight. Specifies the width of the curve being created. Move the slider or enter a value.
Color Picker. Specifies the color of the curve. The default color is black. In the Color Picker dialog box, select a color on the Color Wheel tab, the Square with Brightness tab, or the History Palette tab. The icon updates to show the selected color.
Create Closed Curves. Creates closed curves from overlapping strokes.
Do one of the following:
Using a stylus, place the tip at the starting point and sketch to the end point.
Using a mouse, click at the starting point, drag, and release at the end point.
Create additional curves as required.
You can change options in the dialog box to affect the next curve you create.
To exit the Freehand Curves command, select another command or press Esc.
