Inserting Pictures Into a Plane

You can insert a picture into a selected plane.

The supported file types include .bmp, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .tga.

  1. Select a plane to insert a picture.
  2. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Insert Picture .
  3. In the Insert Picturedialog box, click Choose File and browse for a picture and click Open.
    The picture is inserted into a plane.
  4. Optional: You can set following options in the dialog box.
    • Flip X . Reverses the picture horizontally within its borders.
    • Flip Y . Reverses the picture vertically within its borders.
    • Transparency. Adjusts the transparency of the picture. You can set transparency by typing value or by clicking the arrows.

  5. Optional: To resize the inserted picture, click and drag the handles at the edges of the picture.
  6. Optional: To move or rotate the inserted picture within the selected plane, use the Robot located at the center of the picture:
    • Drag the center of the Robot to move a picture in the work area.
    • Click an edge of a circle of theRobot to rotate a picture.
  7. Click .
    Note: The inserted picture appears as an Ordered Geometrical Set node in the Design Tree.
