You can use this feature to construct a surface to fill a gap in a component. The fill feature constructs a surface patch with any number of sides, within
a boundary defined by existing edges, sketches, or curves.
From the Modeling section of the action bar, click Surface Fill .
Specify surface options.

Description
Thin. Creates a feature with a constant wall thickness. To specify the wall thickness, enter a value in the dialog box.
When Thin is selected, you can define the wall thickness equally in both directions from the profile by clicking Midplane.
Surface. Creates a feature with a wall thickness defined as zero.

Do not merge bodies.
Select a Boundary Selection. The boundary must be a closed loop in the outer boundary.
Select an Inner Loop Selection. Specify the inner loops from the selected closed loops.
Select a Passing Curve or Point Selection. Specify the curves or points for the surface to pass through.
Optional: Click Automerge to automatically find bodies to merge with the lofted body.
Optional: Click Tangent Propagation to include all edges and faces tangent to your selection.
Optional: Click Show resulting U and V isoparametric curves to specify the number of isoparametric curves.
