Suppressing Features

You can suppress features to aid with design.

When you suppress a feature, it is removed from the model, but not deleted. The feature disappears from the model view and is shown in gray in the design tree.

  1. If it is not already visible, enable the Suppress/Unsuppress column in the design tree:
    1. At the top of the design tree, click Design Tree Options .
    2. Select Suppress/Unsuppress.
    Icons indicate the suppression state of each feature:
    Indicates an unsuppressed feature.
    Indicates a suppressed feature.
  2. To suppress a feature:
    1. Right-click the feature in the design tree, or right-click a face of the feature in the 3D area.
    2. Click Suppress/Unsuppress .
  3. To unsuppress a feature:
    1. Right-click the feature in the design tree.
    2. Click Suppress/Unsuppress .
