About Duplicating 2D Elements Using Offset
  1. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Offset .
Tools Palette now displays four offset options and four different fields for duplicating elements.
  2. Click No Propagation in Tools Palette.

Tip: In the Tools Palette, select Both side offset to create offset on both sides.

It creates the offset of the element you have selected.
  3. Select the element you want to duplicate by offset. The arc to be created appears as you move the pointer.

  4. In Tools Palette, specify the number of offset instances you want to create.
  5. Click where you want the first instance to be located or if you know where this element must be precisely located, use one or more Tools Palette value boxes for defining the location.
  6. Press Enter when done. All the created instances are parallel to the original one.

Tip: If are selected when offsetting an element, constraints are automatically created, based on the type of element you are offsetting. Thus, if you move an element, or change its geometry, the other element will be moved or modified accordingly.
