The result you will obtain when moving views depends on the case:
-
When moving independent views (i.e. views which are
not linked to a parent view, and which are therefore not constrained):
these views are all translated into the same direction, in accordance
with the position of the cursor.
-
When moving views that are linked to a single parent
view: these views are all translated into the same direction, depending
on the constraints between the parent and the children views.
-
When moving views that are linked to different parent
views which are not selected: these views are translated into a direction
that depends on the constraints between the parent and the children
views. In other words, two children views may be moved into two new
locations which are not synchronized (for example, one according to
x, the other according to y).
-
When moving views that are linked to different parent
views which are also selected: these views are translated into a direction
that depends on the constraints between the parent and the children
views. As a result, all the children views (with an active link), whether
they are selected or not, are translated into the same direction as
their parent views.
