Creating a Copy View with Link Object

You can create a CopyViewWithLink object.

  1. From the Annotation section of the action bar, click Copy View With Links .
  2. In the Copy View With Links Creation dialog box, click Select a source view.
  3. Under Source Selection, select a source view.

    The list shows all the drawings and their views that are open in the session.

    The source view is shown in the source preview.
  4. Under Target View, select a target view.

    By default, the existing view is selected as the target view.

    You can select the Create a new target view check box to copy the source view in a new target view.

  5. Under Clipping - Layers Properties, specify the following:
    • Set a clipping : Lets you define a clipping on the source view.

      Click , to draw a new clipping profile.

    • Set layers properties : Lets you define or modify the properties for the layers on the source view.

      You can hide, and specify color, line type, and thickness.
