From the Template section of the action bar,
click Label Template
.
Click anywhere in the sheet to define the label anchor point.
To add a leader, right-click the label, and select Add
Leader. The leader extremity is placed at the point indicated by the click
and the label anchor point is placed where the label is dropped.
An empty label with a default image is created without a
leader.
Note:
If the command is ended without selecting a 2D component reference, an empty label with the default
image is created.
Perform either of the following actions to select an object:
Selection in search panel: Search for the required object.
By default, this option is selected.
Selection in opened widgets: Select the object from the
already opened widgets.
This preference is saved for next time usage.
Select the 2D component reference.
If you do not select the content and the command is ended, an empty
label with the default image is created. In this case, you can define the content using
the Replace Content command in the context menu.
Tip:
You can also select an existing label to define the content of the label.
The label is created with the selected content.
Simultaneously, a message box appears
prompting you to check whether you want to delete the 2D component reference used to define the label content.
Click Yes to delete the 2D component reference, or click
No to keep the reference as it is.
Optional: Double-click the text inside the label.
In the Insert Link Template dialog box, select the required attributes, and click Insert.
Right-click the text, and select Modifiable in Instance.
This lets you edit the text in a label instance.
The label is created and placed in the selection mode so that it can
be moved or modified.
