Installing Connector for AutoCAD Client in UI Mode

This section shows you how to install Connector for AutoCAD client.

Before you begin:
  • Ensure that Integration Exchange Framework client is installed. For details on installing Integration Exchange Framework Client, see X-CAD Design Management Administration Guide.
  • Close any running instances of AutoCAD before proceeding installation of Connector for AutoCAD Client.
  1. Run setup.exe.
    A Welcome dialog box opens

    Close all the running instances of AutoCAD before proceeding for successful installation.

  2. Press Enter.
    The Choose Destination Location dialog box opens.
  3. Click Browse and select the location where the client will be installed.

    The default path is displayed as, C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\ENOVIAAcadInteg.

    Note: The dialog box for selecting the target folder may be different for different versions of Windows.

  4. Click Next and the Client Select Software dialog box opens.

    The default value is AAC - Connector for AutoCAD Client.

  5. Click Next and Enter the Server Details dialog box opens.
    Enter the server URL in the following format:http://<Host Name>:<Port Number>/<Application Name>.
  6. Click Next. The SSO Enviroment Setting dialog box appears

    Click SSO Enabled to enable SSO settings.

    Note: This option is available only on Windows platforms.

  7. Click Next.
    The details entered from step 1 to 5 is displayed.
  8. Click Install. On successful installation, the Setup Complete dialog box opens.
    The installation log files are created at target path\InstallData\log\CODE\intel_a\ENOVIA_AAC.media-yy_mm_dd-hhmmss or target path\InstallData\log\CODE\win_b64\ENOVIA_AAC.media-yy_mm_dd-hhmmss.
