Language Lifecycle

Languages are associated with countries. A country can have one or more languages associated with it.

The Language lifecycle includes these states:

Environment: On premises only

Inactive

The Organization Manager creates a language in the Inactive state. In this state, the Organization Manager, Regulatory Administrators, and Regulatory Leads can view and connect or disconnect the language with countries and other objects.

Active

The Organization Manager promotes the language to the Active state. In this state, Employees, Global Template Administrators, Specification Managers, Specification Office Managers, Template Administrators, Regulatory Administrators, Regulatory Request Administrators can view and connect or disconnect the language with other objects. Regulatory Request Responders and Regulatory Requestors can view and connect the language with countries and other objects. Regulatory Users can view the language.

Archived

The Organization Manager can promote the language to the Archived state if it is not associated with any active submissions, specifications, complaints, countries, or other objects. In this state, the Regulatory Administrators and Regulatory Leads can view and connect or disconnect the language with countries and other objects. The Organization Manager and Regulatory Users can view the language.
