Creating a Program

You can create a program. Once you create a program, you automatically become the owner of the program, but you can assign ownership to someone else.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader, Owner
  • App-specific: Program Lead

Before you begin: Program and Contract Management must be the active app.

Program Properties
  1. To create a program, do one of the following:
    • List the app categories for Program and Contract Management.
    • In the navigation pane, click Program Mgmt > Programs.
    • From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Create Program .

    Or

    • From the top bar, click the Add menu.
    • Click Program Mgmt > Create Program.
  2. Enter the following information:
    Field Name Description
    Type Program is the type.
    Name Enter a name for the program.
    Program Designator Enter the attribute to identify the program. This attribute may be used as a prefix to program unique numbering schemas.
    Program Acronym Enter the acronym used to define the program.
    Description Enter a detailed description of the program.
    Program Manager Click to search for and select the Program Manager.
    Responsible Organization Click to search for and select the company, business unit, or department responsible for the program.
    Enable DRL Notifications Select Yes to enable DRL notifications or No to disable DRL notifications.
    Security Level Classification Select the security level classification: Confidential, Secret, Top Secret, or Unclassified.
    Complexity Select the level of complexity: Low, Medium, High, or N/A.
    Priority Select the level of priority for the program: Low, Medium, High, or N/A.
    Priority Complexity Calculation Select Averaged, Entered, Highest, or Lowest.
    Select Policy Program is the policy.
  3. Click Ok.
