Creating Contract Requirements Structure

You can create a contract requirement structure from the UCF of a contract.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, contract owner


Before you begin: Open the contract part and section with contract requirements as an artifact. For example, Part 1, Section G and H, and Part 2, Section I have contract requirements as artifact. For more information, see Contract Parts and Sections.

Opening a Contract
  1. Click the Artifacts tab of the contract section.
  2. Click the Contract Requirements tab.
  3. Select the check box next to the contract requirement.
  4. From the toolbar, click Actions > Insert New > Create Sub Contract Requirement or Create Derived Contract Requirement .
  5. Enter the following information:
    Field NameDescription
    NameEnter a name for the contract requirement or select Autoname to automatically name the contract requirement.
    PolicySelect the policy. Requirement is the default policy.
    TitleEnter a title for the contract requirement.
    Owner Click to search and select the user currently responsible for the contract requirement.
    Content A free-form area that contains rich content.
    Responsible OrganizationClick to search and select the company, department, or business unit responsible for the contract requirement.
    Effective MonthSelect the month the contract requirement is available.
    Effective YearEnter the year the contract requirement is available.
    Type of RequirementSelect the type of requirement: Company Standard, Customer Standard, Contract Specific, Customer Specific, Government Standard, Unassigned.
    Sponsoring CustomerClick to search and select the sponsoring customer.
    NotesEnter any notes related to the contract requirement.
  6. Click OK.
