This topic describes the <import> XML element.

General syntax
<pemapping xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

   <import name="unique name of the import to reference it as a namespace" 
           path="the path of the imported file" />

DescriptionDefines an import of a configuration XML file. The imported and importing file must be of the same version.

The name of the import used to address the regular expression references. The references in the imported file can then be addressed with the syntax: importName::referenceName

Allowed character set: [p{Alnum}\_\-] = [a-z A-Z 0-9 _ -]
pathrequiredThe path of the file to import. The path can be absolute or relative to the path of the importing file.
