Creating a Package

You can create a package that is a group of applications that can be deployed simultaneously. To create a package, it is more convenient to use the Know-how Apps Package (Standard) option available in the New content dialog box. It creates a standard package that uses an application that itself uses a component.

This task shows you how to:

  1. From the Manage Apps section, click Create Package .
The Know-how Apps Package dialog box opens.
  2. Enter the name of the package and click OK.

Important: Standalone packages and applications are designed to embed previously created components (bottom-up approach).
