The user assistance portal is designed so that users of any
Dassault Systemès
apps
can access (and search) all guides from one location. For
apps,
this can be helpful in particular for administrative guides that are not
context sensitive from the web apps. For the help buttons in web
apps
to work, you must either install the help and include it in the war file, or
configure the help URL property for the system.
To include the help for web
apps
in the war file, the war utility asks for the location of the user assistance
portal, and when it runs, it copies all the installed documentation to the
staging area and then creates the war file. Because it includes all the guides,
you should deploy before installing documentation for any native apps, since
that will make the war file larger than necessary.
