Web Apps Installation

This guide describes how to install any web app or accelerator.

Apps require you first to install 3DSpace. Then follow the installation procedures outlined in this guide.

Before Installing Apps

Mandatory apps linked to the Collaborative Industry Innovator (CSV) role such as ENOVIA CollaborativeTasks and 3DExplore must be installed first.

If installing many apps on the same system, the default setting for open files may be too small. In this case, 3DSpace requires about 1K for open files.

If your app server is configured for use with other apps, refer to your app server's tuning recommendations.

Installing a Hot Fix

Hot fix installations (VERSION.HFX.Partial) are available for selected app versions. A hot fix can be installed only over the version of the same name. For example, EngineeringCentral.10.5.HF2.Partial can be installed over Engineering Central version 10.5 or 10.5.HF1. A full upgrade (VERSION.HFX.Full) can be installed over any previous release.

Hot fix installation follows the same procedure as the full release installation, but includes only modified files. It is recommended for sites that have customized pages.
