Creating Rectangular Patterns

Rectangular Pattern lets you create rectangular patterns of a feature or a current solid.

Before you begin:
  • Create a web, a joggle and a cutout on the joggle.
  • Ensure that these features lie on a unique and planar joggle.
  1. Select the object to duplicate.
  2. From the Reference element box, select an edge to specify the first direction.
  3. From the Parameters list, select one of the duplication parameters.
  4. From the Reference element box in the Second Direction tab, select an edge to define the second direction.
Additional cutouts are aligned along this second direction.

  5. In the Position box, define the localisation of the pattern from the reference element.
  6. Specify the rotation angle.
