About the Creation of a Local Corner Relief

This section provides information about the redefinition of the supports when creating a local corner relief.

The Supports Redefinition option enables to redefine the supports sides thus adding matter to these supports. In that case, the created element appears before the supports in the tree.

Selecting this option means that the corner relief replaces the side of the surfacic flange. This side must therefore exists: when creating the surfacic flange, do not define the side as None.

Notes:
  • In hybrid context, when selecting Supports Redefinition check box, the surfacic flanges are hidden in the 3D area and the sketch is not aggregated anymore under the corner relief in the tree.
  • You cannot create a corner relief with redefined supports if its profile implies adding matter to the web.
