Creating Curve Stamps

You can create curve stamps by specifying punch geometrical parameters.

Using this function, you can take advantage from the Library Browser to quickly search and instantiate general components classified in general libraries and classes.


Before you begin: Create a web and sketch a curve on its face.
  1. From the Refine section of the action bar, click Curve Stamp .
  2. Select the curve.

    • If there is no existing curve, click Sketch to draw one.
    • You can also click Open catalog to insert a profile from a catalog. For further information, see Browsing the Sheetmetal Catalog.

  3. Optional: To round off the edges of the curve stamp, select Obround.
  4. Define the following parameters:

    Height Total height
    LengthMaximum width
    Radius Outer bend radius (first radius)
    Radius Inner bend radius (second radius)
  5. To visualize the curve stamp, click Preview.


  6. Optional: To round off the edges of the curve stamp, select Obround.

  7. Optional: To create a curve stamp without a fillet, enter 0 as the radius value.
