Ambience Studio Stacking

You can use the app-stacking mechanism from Live Rendering or Rendering Scene Design to edit an ambience in Ambience Studio.

In Live Rendering or Rendering Scene Design, you can only edit the local overload, whereas in Ambience Studio you can edit the ambience reference of a PLM ambience.

  1. In Live Rendering or Rendering Scene Design, do one of the following:
    • In the tree, double-click the PLM ambience (identified by the symbol) you want to edit.
    • In the Product Ambiences panel, click Edit Source.
Ambience Studio opens and you can use the commands available in the Ambience Studio section of the action bar.

You can also use some commands available in the View and Tools sections.

  2. In Ambience Studio, make your changes in the ambience panel or in the light manager.
  3. Optional: From the View section of the action bar, click Stellar to use ray tracing in local mode.

Tip: Click Stellar Rendering Log to display information about the rendering progress.

For more information, see Interactive Ray Tracing.

  4. From the Ambience Studio section of the action bar, click Exit App to exit Ambience Studio.
