Creating a Master Graphic Element

You can create a master graphic element.

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Product Manager

Before you begin: View the Artwork Elements tab of a product line. For more information, see Artwork Elements.
  1. In the tab toolbar, select Actions > Create Graphic Element.
    The Create Graphic Element page appears.
    Note: You can also select > Copy and Artwork > Create Graphic Element, from the top bar to create a master graphic element.
  2. Enter these details.

    Field Name Description
    Type From the list, select a type.
    On premises only: Your Business Administrator can configure the graphic element type.
    Document Type Select one of the following types:
    • Graphic
    • Photo
    • Symbol
    Image/File Click Browse to select an image or a file.
    Tip: To upload images saved in the .bmp format, you have to convert them using the NConvert application.
    Display Name Type the display name.
    Description Type the description.
    Responsible Organization Click to assign an organization or a project the responsibility of designing the graphic element. By default, the Company Name is selected.

  3. Click Done.

The graphic element is created and added in the Artwork Elements tab of the product line.
