Files Associated with a POA

The files associated with a POA appear in the Files tab of the PowerView page. The artwork files are uploaded in the primary artwork file formats. In addition, artwork files are uploaded in additional formats such as PDF and SVG, if configured. Also, a GS1 response file is uploaded to the POA when artwork files are checked in to the POA from Adobe Illustrator.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Author, Leader, Owner
  • App-specific: Product Manager, Artwork Project Manager, Master Copy Author, Master Copy Approver, Local Copy Author, Local Copy Approver, Graphic Designer, Artwork Approver

To access this page:

  1. View the POA PowerView page. For more information, see Opening a POA.
  2. Select the Files tab.

Columns

Column Name Description
File Name Name of the artwork file associated with the POA.
Format Type of artwork file associated with the POA.


Indicates whether the file is locked.
Ver Version number of the artwork file associated with the POA.
Originated Date when the artwork file was created.
Comments Description of the artwork file associated with the POA.
Owner Name of the artwork file owner.
File Size Size of the artwork file.
Actions Lists the actions that can be performed for the artwork file associated with the POA.

Actions

Action Description
Upload File to Artwork File Lets you upload artwork files and the GS1 response file.

An Author/Leader/Owner or a Product Manager/Artwork Project Manager/Graphic Designer can perform this action.

Click Upload Artwork & Response File, browse and select the artwork file, select the artwork file format, enter a comment, and click Done.

For GS1 response file, select format GS1 Response. For artwork file, select format Artwork. If you are uploading the artwork file in different file formats, select file type Artwork for one of them.

When you upload a GS1 response file, you must also upload an artwork file.
