Task Plan Components

A task plan defines four typical components: tasks, samples, materials, and results. You execute the tasks on the samples to produce and record results. Activities define the processes to perform for tasks, or an activity plan can define a set of tasks. When you execute a task, you generate a process execution record that includes a reference to the container for the sample investigated. Each process can specify the equipment to use.
