Using Sketcher

You can use Sketcher to create your profile sketches for mass and other elements in the app.

Context:

Important: To use and access Sketcher in the app, you must have a valid Sketcher license.

  1. To access Sketcher, from the Building section of the action bar, click Positioned Sketch .
  2. In the tree, from 3D Shape, click a plane.
    For example, to create a mass profile sketch with the standard building Top plane, click xy plane.
  3. Use any of Sketcher commands and functions to create your sketch.

    Tip: To display the Sketcher tree, press F3.

  4. When your sketch is complete, from the action bar, click Exit App .
  5. To edit the sketch in Sketcher, in the tree, in PartBody, double-click the sketch.
    The sketch immediately opens Sketcher.
