View the Formula Comparison Grid
If formulas are selected for comparison, you can view them in the formula comparison grid.

Click the Multi-Formula Edit tile in the left panel.
Note:
If the Multi-Formula Edit tile is not visible, this is
because no formulas are selected for comparison. To select formulas, follow the
instructions in "Add Formulas to the Comparison."
Add Formulas to the ComparisonYou can select formulas from the left panel to add to a formula comparison. Notes:
Remove a Formula from the ComparisonYou can remove a formula from the formula comparison grid. Add an Open Formula to the ComparisonWhen a formula is open, you can add it to the formula comparison in the formula grid.
In the formula grid toolbar, click Add to Compare ![]() The formula is added to the Multi-Formula Edit list in
the left panel.
Note:
When a formula is included in a comparison, you cannot
edit it in the formula grid.
Remove an Open Formula from the ComparisonWhen a formula is open, you can remove it from the formula comparison in the formula grid. Expand Formula ColumnsBy default, the formula comparison grid shows the wet % of each ingredient. You can expand a formula's column so that ingredients' wet weight and units are also visible for that formula.
In the formula comparison grid, click ![]() The column expands to include subcolumns for wet weight and units. In the
example below, the column for Nature Pure Dish Soap (Variant #1)
is expanded:

![]() Show Ingredient Difference MarkersYou can show markers that indicate whether ingredient levels in formula variants differ from those in the base formula.
In the formula comparison grid, click Show/Hide Difference

![]() ![]() Hide Ingredient Difference MarkersWhen ingredient markers are visible, you can hide them.

Move a ColumnYou can move a formula's column to a different position in the formula comparison grid.
With the mouse pointer, drag the header cell of a column horizontally to its new
position in the grid.
The column moves to the new position. If you moved the column to the left of
the grid, that formula becomes the base formula. In the other columns, ingredient
difference markers, if visible, update to reflect differences from the new base
formula.
