Editing a Material

You can edit an existing material.

Before you begin:

If you only have the Formulation Designer role or Laboratory Reviewer role, you can only view materials. You cannot create or edit materials.

  1. View the material that you want to edit.

    Note: You can only edit Sourced and Unified materials. You cannot edit Formulated materials.

  2. Click Edit.
  3. Edit the material.

    For Constituency, click to open the Add Component window and edit the component.

    Note: You cannot change the type of material, such as changing a Unified material to a Sourced material, or change any system assigned values, such as Material ID.

  4. Click Submit to submit your changes or click Cancel to return to viewing the material.
