Editing a Substance or Lot

You can edit an existing substance or lot.

Before you begin:

If you only have the Formulation Designer role or Laboratory Reviewer role, you can only view substances and lots. You cannot create or edit them.

  1. View the substance or lot that you want to edit.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Edit the information.

    Notes:
    • You cannot change the substance type, such as changing a Plasmid substance to a Protein substance.
    • You cannot change any system assigned values, such as Substance ID.
    • Editing a substance might add or remove identifications.

  4. Click Submit to submit your changes.
