Using the Knowledge Certify Operation

With a Resource Table

You can use the resource table option.

  1. Click Sequence Combination to create a combination of operations.
  2. Click Query Component .
  3. Click Bind Object .
  4. Double click the Bind a PLMComponent.1 operation in the tree and enter ExtObj in the Relative Name field. Click OK to validate.
  5. Click Knowledge Certify .
  6. Expand the Bind a PLMComponent.1 and the QueryComponent.1 nodes.
  7. Double-click KWCertify.1 in the tree. The KWCertify.1 editor opens.
    1. Click Resource Table RuleSet.
    2. Click ....
      The resource table opens.
    3. Select a resource or click Add a new resource item.
      A new line appears in the table.
    4. Double-click the Resource cell.
      The Select a PLM Rule Set for item "Resource1" tab opens.
    5. Click Search and select the desired reference from the list. Click OK to validate.
    6. Click the Object field in the Feature to certify area and click the output link of the Bind a PLMComponent.1 operation in the tree. Click OK to validate.

Without a Resource Table

You can choose not to use the resource table option.

  1. Click Sequence Combination to create a combination of operations.
  2. Click Query Component .
  3. Click Bind Object .
  4. Double-click QueryComponent.1 in the tree and select PLMRuleSet in the scrolling list. Click OK to validate.
  5. Double click the Bind a PLMComponent.1 operation in the tree and enter ExtObj in the Relative Name field. Click OK to validate.
  6. Click Knowledge Certify .
  7. Expand the Bind a PLMComponent.1 and the QueryComponent.1 nodes.
  8. Double-click KWCertify.1 in the tree. The KWCertify.1 editor opens.
    1. Click RuleBase/Set, click its field and click the output link of the QueryComponent.1 operation in the tree.
    2. Click the Object field in the Feature to certify area and click the output link of the Bind a PLMComponent.1 operation in the tree. Click OK to validate.
