Rolling Back Features in the Design Tree

You can roll back features in the design tree to an earlier state to modify the feature sequence in a model, suppressing subsequent features in the tree.

This task shows you how to:

Drag the Rollback Handle

When you roll back features in the design tree, you can add new features or edit existing features in the reverted model. You can drag the rollback handle to move the feature forward or backward in the design tree.

Click a feature in the design tree and drag it to the location you want it located, relative to the other features.
The features that follow your selection in the design tree are suppressed and the rollback bar appears gray below your selection in the design tree.

Double-Click a Feature to RollBack

When you double-click a feature in the design tree, you revert the model to an earlier state. Again, you can add new features or edit existing features in the reverted model.

Double-click a feature in the design tree.

Alternatively, right-click the feature and from the context toolbar, click

  • The features that follow your selection in the design tree are suppressed, and the rollback bar appears gray below your selection in the design tree.
  • Once you finish editing the active feature, the rollback control goes to the previously active feature in the tree.
