Creating Planes between Other Planes

The Planes Between command lets you create a specified number of planes between two planes in one operation.

This task shows you how to:

Creating Planes between Intersecting Planes

  1. In the work area, select two intersecting planes.
  2. In the Instances box, specify the number of planes to create.
  3. Optional: Click Repetition direction to reverse the direction of the plane creation.

    Tip: In the 3D area, you can also click the arrow displayed alongside the element.

  4. Optional: Select Create in a new body to add the planes in a new ordered geometrical set.

    By default, this option is selected.

  5. Validate .
    The planes are created.

Creating Planes between Parallel Planes

  1. In the work area, select two parallel planes.
  2. In the Instances box, specify the number of planes to create.
  3. Optional: Select Create in a new body to add the planes in a new ordered geometrical set.

    By default, this option is selected.

  4. Validate .
