Create Points and Planes by Defining Instances

In the work area,
select the reference elements:
- A curve
- A first point
- A second point
Important: - If you select only a curve, you can select the With end points option under Advanced parameters to define the first and last instances as the curve's extremities.
- After selecting the first point, you can reverse the direction of the creation by clicking the arrow in the 3D area or Repetition direction in the panel.
- Reversing the direction is not available if you only select a curve, or if you select another second point instead of the default one.
- Under Type, select Instances.

In the Instances box, specify a number.
This value corresponds to the number of elements to be created.

Under Advanced parameters, select additional parameters:

To create the instances in a new ordered geometrical set, select
Create a new editable body.
- By default, the option is selected.
- Selecting this option is required to edit the instances number after the creation.

To create planes at the points instances, select Create normal planes
also.
By default, the option is cleared.

To create the instances in a new ordered geometrical set, select
Create a new editable body.

Validate .
The instances of points and planes are equally positioned according to the defined Instances value.

To edit the specified number of instances:
- In the tree, double-click the new ordered geometrical set.
- In the panel, modify the Instances value.
Important: Advanced parameters cannot be modified when you edit instances.
