Command parking allows you to add elements such as reference planes, axis, points, and axis systems. You can also add sketch elements in the geometry. Command parking is only available one level at a time. For example, if you need a new Reference Plane, you can park the current command and create another reference plane. However, you cannot enter another level of parking in the Reference Plane dialog box.

This feature allows you to add missing prerequisites while in a command. Use command parking when it makes sense to create a sketch element while the command is running. For example, you might need a sketch entity to create a hole feature. You can click the context menu in the command dialog box and select Insert sketch .

After adding the required reference or sketch in the open feature command, you can continue with the paused command.
