An Ordered Geometrical Set (OGS) can be viewed as a container for a set of history-based features. The resulting geometry created by these features is treated as a group because it belongs to a set. A single Ordered Geometric Set may have more than one body resulting from the features within it, but they are seen as a single entity as they are managed by the set. To manage bodies independently, it is required they belong to different sets. Features or sketches created in the app always must belong to an OGS. If no OGS exists in the 3DShape when you start a new sketch or features, a default OGS named “Design Features” is created automatically. Note:
xSheetMetal creates Body and Flat Pattern sets, while x3D Design and xShape Design use OGS.
