Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts are key combinations that invoke commands.

Note: Many of the keyboard shortcuts listed in the following tables are also displayed in the command tooltip.

X From the standard area of the action bar, select Switch App to open the Switch App dialog box and select the required app.
Esc Exits the active command.
Tab Moves to next tab stop in dialog boxes.
Shift + Tab Moves to previous tab stop in dialog boxes.
Enter Executes focused control in dialog boxes.
Space Executes focused control in dialog boxes.
Arrow keys Navigates through buttons and listed items in dialog boxes.
M Measure
Ctrl + S Saves current model.
Ctrl + Y Redoes the last command.
Ctrl + Z Undoes the last command.
Delete Deletes the selected item.

S Displays a context toolbar of common action bar commands.
Tab Locks the dimension orientation when using the Dimension tool and making selections.
Ctrl + C keys Copies the selected sketch objects to the local app clipboard.
Ctrl + V keys Pastes the sketch objects from the local app clipboard to the work area. The sketch object insert near the current position of the mouse pointer.
Ctrl + X keys Cuts (deletes) the sketch objects and places it in the local app clipboard. Use the paste function (Ctrl + V) to insert the cut sketch object in the new location.
