From the Feature section of the action bar, click Hole
dropdown, click Thread
.

In the work area, select a circular edge to use as the Start location
for the thread.
- Optional:
In the Offset box, enter a value to specify the distance
from the Start location on where to start the thread. To
reverse the Offset direction, click .
No Offset entered starts the thread at the selected
edge.

From the Depth menu, specify the thread length.

Distance box, enter a value to specify
the distance from the Start location to the

Diameter * Multiplier |
Diameter * Multiplier. Specifies the thread length by the
pre-defined or entered multiple of the diameter.

Select the Size from the dropdown.

Expand Thread Options and review the following.
- For Cosmetic threads, you can enable Trim threads to
geometry. For Physical threads, you
can enable Quick Preview.
- From Thread handedness choose
- Right-handed. Specifies the thread rotation
as right-handed (clockwise).
- Left-handed. Specifies the thread rotation as
left-handed (counterclockwise).

Expand the Display Options, and review the
following
- Display through geometry. Displays hidden threads
that are inside of, or behind geometry.
- Display threads. Displays the thread pitch wire.
- Display end of thread. Displays the end of the thread.
- When the Display threads is enabled, the Override
thread count display is available. You can override the
number of turns the thread makes from the start to the end of the thread.
Enter the Count value greater than '0'. The default
value is '1'.
Note:
The Display Options are available only for
Cosmetic threads.
