Changing Maturity

You can change the maturity states of products. Maturity states of multiple products, components, 3D shape, or geometry (from the work area or tree) can be changed simultaneously.

The maturity states are not automatically propagated from an assembly to its subcomponents.

Before you begin: Open a product in the app.
  1. From the Design Manager, select the products or components whose maturity state you want to change.

You can select products from different hierarchical levels.

  2. From the action bar, click Lifecycle > Change Maturity .
The Maturity dialog box appears. It lists the selected products and details such as their type, revision, and maturity state.
Note: All the selected products get listed and can be in different maturity states, but only the maturity states of products having icon in the dialog box get modified.

If you are selecting a 3D shape or geometry for maturity change, its immediate parent product gets included in the Maturity dialog box.

  3. Choose a maturity state from the dialog box and click OK.
The selected maturity state is applied to the products listed in the dialog box, and their maturity state is modified.
