Managing Documents

You can attach a new or an existing document to a function or logical component.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin: A system containing function or logical components has been saved.

Attach a New Document

  1. Right-click the function or logical component under which the document will be attached and select Attach New Document .
  2. Select the document.
    The document is attached under the Documents node.
    Note: To detach a document, right-click the document and select Detach Document .

Attach an Existing Document

  1. Right-click the function or logical component under which the document will be attached and select Attach Existing Document .
  2. From the search result panel, select an existing document.

Display Attached Documents

  1. Right-click the function or logical component containing the attached document.
  2. Select Show Attached Documents in the context menu.
    A folder containing the documents appears under the component.

Download Documents

You can download a document attached under a function or logical component.

  1. Expand the Documents node to display the document.
  2. Right-click the document and select Download Document .
