Defining Orientations

You can a new material orientation.

  1. From the Material section of the action bar, click Material Parameters .
  2. In the Orientations tab, proceed as follows to define a new material orientation:
    1. Click Insert Blank Row .

      Notes:
      • If you select a line before clicking Insert Blank Row , the orientation is created before the selected line. If no line is selected, the orientation is created at the end of the table.
      • The command is available in the context menu of the orientation.

    2. In the Orientation dialog box, enter the name, value, and color of the new direction.
    3. Click OK.

    Note: By default, the 0, 45, -45 & 90 orientation are available.

    The orientation is created.
  3. To manage orientations, select an orientation and use one of the following commands:
    1. To change the order of the direction values in the 2D Viewer, use Move Row Up and Move Row Down .
    2. To edit an orientation, click Row Edition .
    3. To delete an orientation, click Remove Row .

    Note: These commands are also available in the context menu of the orientation.
