Installing XCAD Design Connectors

This section shows you how to install XCAD Design Connectors (On Premise only).

Before you begin:
  • Ensure that the user installing XCAD Design Connectors has Administrator privileges.
  • For supported JRE versions, refer to the "Support Policy for Java" in the Program Directories Library for 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x.
  • Ensure that you have .NET Framework installed on your computer, refer the Program Directory for the supported .NET Framework version.
  1. Run the setup.exe for Windows.
  2. Click Next. The Choose Destination Folder dialog box appears.

    Click Browse to specify the path to install the XCAD Design Connectors.

  3. Click Next. The Select Software dialog box appears.
    The required space for installing XCAD Design Connectors and the available space appears.
  4. Click Next.
    From the list of components that can be installed, select Connector for CATIA V5 only.
  5. Click Next.
    The Installation Complete dialog box appears once the installation process is complete. Click Close to complete the installation.
