Quick Save

The Quick Save command saves data in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform without opening a dialog box.

Using the Quick Save command you can quickly save new, and modified data in your current CATIA V5 editor. If there is an authorized Change Action in the CATIA V5 session, this command saves new or modified data of the current editor under the Change Action. When you use the Quick Save command, derived outputs are generated and saved in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You cannot overload this default behavior. You can only save the current editor modifications.

If you perform a Quick Save when modified data is not saved, the data is saved on local disk. You can save the data with a default file name in the 3DEXPERIENCE V5 cache directory. The Quick Save command does not lock data before saving it on the server.

If you have already saved all the documents of the current editor in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a notification appears informing you that there is no data to save.

If there is an inconsistency in the documents to save, the Quick Save operation is deactivated. You must manually start the Save with Options command.
