The Connector for Cadence Allegro HDL adds a 3DEXPERIENCE menu to the Cadence Allegro HDL menu.

Menu Item	Description
Login to 3DEXPERIENCE	Where your user name and password are entered.
Open from 3DEXPERIENCE	Searches for a CAD object in 3DEXPERIENCE.
Show Preferences	Opens the PreferencesPreferences dialog box.
Show Log	Opens the Log window.
Logout from 3DEXPERIENCE	Logs you out of the 3DEXPERIENCE system.

After you search for a CAD object, various operations can be performed through the context menu of the CAD object.

Menu Item	Description
Open	Checks out the CAD object from 3DEXPERIENCE.
Open Selected (Only in Standard Collaboration Flow)	Checks out only selected CAD objects.
Lock	Locks the selected CAD object in 3DEXPERIENCE.
Unlock	Unlocks the selected CAD object in3DEXPERIENCE.
Revise to NEXT	When saving the project, sets the revise column to NEXT.
Revise to MANUAL	When saving the project, opens the Revise to MANUAL dialog box. Enter the revision level you want to set and click OK.
Show Iterations	Opens a list of iterations for the CAD object. Right-click an iteration to open it.
Remove CAD Modell	Permanently deletes the CAD objects from 3DEXPERIENCE.
Show Details	Opens a window that lists details about the selected CAD object.
Explore in 3DEXPERIENCE	Explores the CAD object in 3DEXPERIENCE with the web browser.

When saving projects to 3DEXPERIENCE, you can perform the following tasks.

Menu Item	Description
Lock	Locks the selected CAD object in 3DEXPERIENCE from the CAD Tool.
Unlock	Unlocks the selected CAD object in3DEXPERIENCE from the CAD Tool. It is reflected in the Locked By field of the search dialog.
Revise to NEXT	When saving the project, sets the revise column to NEXT.
Revise to MANUAL	When saving the project, opens the Revise to MANUAL dialog box. Enter the revision level you want to set and click OK.
Show Details	Shows the details related to the selected design document.
Derived Outputs	Where you can select various derived outputs for checking in to 3DEXPERIENCE.
Add to Workspace	Opens a list of iterations for the CAD object. Right-click an iteration to open it.

After successful installation of the Client Connector, the main menu of the Project Manager will have a 3DEXPERIENCE menu. The 3DEXPERIENCE menu of the Client Connector in Project Manager will have submenu entries for all 3DEXPERIENCE related task operations.

Menu Item	Description
Login	Logs you into 3DEXPERIENCE
Setup Project	Prepares the BOM before maintaining it in 3DEXPERIENCE.
Start New	A dialog box opens where you can select CAD object templates containing Design Archives, which are stored in 3DEXPERIENCE.

After successful installation of the Client Connector, the main menu of the Project Manager will have a 3DEXPERIENCE menu. The 3DEXPERIENCE menu of the Client Connector in Project Manager will have submenu entries for all 3DEXPERIENCE related task operations.

Menu Item	Description
Enable Component (only for materials)	Enables a node makes the component eligible to be considered for BOM creation.
Disable Component (only for materials)	Disables a node ignores the selected node for BOM creation.
Assign 3DEXPERIENCE (only for materials)	Assigns a part from 3DEXPERIENCE to the selected ECAD component.
Add Existing From 3DEXPERIENCE (only for materials)	Adds the already existing parts from 3DEXPERIENCE.
Remove Selected (only for added materials)	Removes a part from the extracted components.
Remove All Imported (only for added materials)	Removes all the components that the user has imported using the Import External Partlist menu.
Import External Partlist (only for assembly)	Manually imports components to be used for BOM creation.

In dialog boxes that show lists of workspaces as the result of a search, the context menu for an item in the search results lets you work with a workspace. You can right-click a workspace or a workspace folder to open the context menu.

Menu Item	Description
Create Workspace	Creates a workspace in 3DEXPERIENCE directly from Client Connector.
Create Workspace Folder	Creates a new folder in the workspace. You can create multiple folders and subfolders under a workspace.
Delete Workspace or Delete Workspace Folder	Deletes the selected workspace or folder underneath 3DEXPERIENCE.
Remove all CAD Models from Folder	Deletes all CAD Models from the folder, but does not delete them from 3DEXPERIENCE
Move Folder	Moves the selected folder from one workspace to another workspace or from one folder to another folder under the same workspace or to a different workspace folder.
Explore in3DEXPERIENCE	You can explore the workspace or folder 3DEXPERIENCE.

A right-click o the System Tray icon opens the context menu, which gives you access to all the functional provided by the connector. The System Tray menu is shown below:

Menu Item	Description
Help > About	Opens the About dialog box of the connector.
Help > Support Archive	Use this option to create a support archive.
Extras > Show Log	Opens the log window.
Preferences	Opens a dialog box to configure General settings, Plug-in settings, and Module settings.
Shutdown and Exit	Closes the plug-in, the Library Client Connector, and disconnects the session to 3DEXPERIENCE.
