Synchronizing Components from 3DEXPERIENCE to ECAD

You can synchronize components from 3DEXPERIENCE to ECAD using two different views; the Allegro Library and the 3DEXPERIENCE Type Class/Part Library.

  1. Choose the preferred view to display the files required for synchronization.

    OptionDescription
Allegro Library viewShows the available Allegro Libraries.
3DEXPERIENCEType Classes/Part Library view.Shows the available part types in 3DEXPERIENCE.

This action calls the mapping file specified and runs the configuration under the mapping options to synchronize the components from 3DEXPERIENCE to the ECAD Library.
  2. Select one or more libraries for synchronization.
All the components under the selected libraries are extracted, and the rules specified in the mapping configuration are applied by the connector.
  3. Click ECAD to 3DEXPERIENCE.
A confirmation dialog opens after a successful synchronization.
  4. Select OK to finish the synchronization.
All of the parts belonging to the selected libraries in ECAD are synchronized. A detailed report file is created in the project folder as a result of the synchronization.
  5. View the synchronization details by clicking Info.
In this file, you can view the number of materials that were added, modified, removed, or unchanged.

A successful synchronization of components between ECAD Library and 3DEXPERIENCE is complete.
