Creating a Fluid Set

Fluid Set lets you create a fluid set that contains fluid volume outputs and relationships between these outputs that will be used for the flow study.

Before you begin: Create a 3D shape containing volumic geometries.
  1. Select the geometric elements.
  2. Click Join volume to join volumes that touch each other.
  3. Select the type for each fluid volume:
    • Fluid volume
    • Pipe
  4. Click Preview to display the computed geometry.
  5. In the tree, click the fluid set feature and do one of the following:
    OptionDescription
    Hide/Show Displays hidden or shown objects alternatively.


    Show all fluid volumes    		 Shows the fluid set and all the associated fluid volumes.


    Show only this fluid set    		 Shows this disconnected feature and all its disconnected areas.


    Set transparency    		 Sets transparency to 50%.
    Apply material Applies a material on this fluid set.
