Defining the Physics

You can define the physics to describe the flow qualities that apply to the entire simulation, such as gravity.

Before you begin: Create a flow optimization. For more information, see Creating a Flow Optimization.
  1. From the Conditions section of the Flow analysis assistant panel, click Physics .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive name.
  3. Select Enable gravity effects to include gravitational effects in the fluid physics in the simulation.

    By default, gravity is applied in the Z-direction.
