Selecting Control Points

You can select control points.


Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape.

Control Points Dialog Box
  1. From the Modify section of the action bar, click Control Points .
    Tip: Double-click a datum element in the work area or in the tree to modify its control points. This also works in a parallel command session (PCS) context.
  2. Select one or several elements.
  3. In the Support area of the Control Points dialog box, select a support, for example Normal to Robot .
  4. In the Filters area, click Points only .
  5. Select one or multiple control points to be modified.
  6. Undo the last step.
  7. In the Filters area, click Mesh only .
  8. Select a mesh line to be modified at any position.
  9. Undo the last step.
  10. In the Filters area, click Points and mesh .
  11. You can combine the points and mesh filter.
    • Select one or multiple control points to modify control points only.
    • Select a mesh line between two control points to modify a mesh line.

You can modify the selected control points by moving, positioning, and creating symmetry.
