Layered Product Design

Layered Product Design is an app dedicated to the design of products consisting of several layers of various materials bounded together.

Layered Product Design provides a dedicated context, the dedicated data model (Layer, Mechanical Bounds, …), and associated functions and behaviors to manage those objects (Create, modify, delete, visualize, …).

The design is based on a single 3D Part containing all the required features to represent the final product.

The view in the 3D area is updated as you create the design. You can also generate reports (as texts or drawings) on the basis of the layers order (material, geometry dimensions, parameters, and properties). Computations of area, mass, net/trim gross, … are available as well as a preparation for simulation.

This product might use or depict Intellectual Property (IP) protected data. It is the user’s responsibility to safeguard the IP protected data when allowing others to view, export, or print the data. This includes the thumbnail representations of parts or assemblies used in markup screens.
