Exporting the Stacking

You can export the whole stacking into an Excel file.

  1. From the Collaboration section of the action bar, click Stacking Export .
  2. Select the check boxes of the information to export.
  3. Enter the path and name of the file to create.
  4. Optional: Select the Open file after export check box.
  5. Click Export.
    An Excel file is created, with information on the elements of the stacking
    • Type of the element (stacking, layers group, layer, elastic layer, …)
    • Name
    • Material
    • Parameters (with path, value and unit)
    • Impacted layers for mechanical bonds and relation layers.
      Important: In optimized mode, the impacted layers of relation layers are not displayed.
    Note: If you are exporting data to an existing file that already contains information, a message proposes to overwrite the current content with the selected information, or to add the selected information in a new sheet (existing sheets are kept).
