This check verifies whether the end style of the two extremities of the rigid route is valid, based on the Pipe Fabrication End Style table. If not, the check fails.

This page discusses:

Context

The end style of a route determines which auto part can be placed on a route end. The Pipe Fabrication End Style table lists all possible end styles for a route.

Note: The check also fails if:
  • No specification is set on the rigid route.
  • No Pipe Fabrication End Style table exists in the specification.
  • The Pipe Fabrication End Style table does not return any values for this context.

For more information about the table, see Piping & Tubing Design Administration Guide: Data Setup: Piping/Tubing Resource Files: Resource Files - Common Tables: Pipe Fabrication End Style.
