ContextIn a design context, you can derive faces from solids and use the faces as the basis of a complex geometry. You can use analytical surfaces to design a closed face, such as a cylindrical or spherical surface. However, when an analytical surface is transformed into a NURBS representation to design complex shapes, the start and end boundaries of the surface can differ and generate incorrect surface boundaries. Some computer-aided design (CAD) systems can only process geometry defined with NURBS. If you model face edges using other types of elements (such as analytical or procedural elements), the geometry can fail or lack in accuracy. Check Information
