Embedded_Wires_and_Points

This check verifies whether a curve completely overlaps another curve. If so, the curve is considered as incorrect.

Note: A check on last modifications is available for this check.

Context

Identical curves are duplicated curves overlapping one another entirely. Curves are partially identical when one of them overlapps the other, but not completely.

You can obtain identical or partially identical curves in the following situations:

  • Performing specific modeling operations on the geometry.
  • Copying external geometries into the model.

Identical or partially identical curves increase the size of the model and are considered as redundant. They can also generate design ambiguities or prevent continuous curve paths to be correctly recognized.
